AI video prompt improver

Make a rough prompt easier to direct, with a clear subject, action, camera movement, and visual treatment.

  • 01Three usable prompt variants
  • 02Specific camera and motion choices
  • 03An explanation of what changed

Include the goal, source facts, visual preferences, and anything to avoid. 0 / 6,000 characters.

Free drafting. Daily limits apply.

Your brief is sent to our AI provider to generate a text draft. Video generation is a separate step. Longer videos need multiple clips and editing.

Improve clarity before adding detail

A strong prompt tells the model what should be visible and what should happen. Broad adjectives such as “beautiful” or “cinematic” leave many decisions open. Concrete direction names the subject, setting, action, framing, lighting, and camera movement that matter to the shot.

More words are not automatically better. Several competing actions, camera moves, or styles can make the request harder to follow. Use the generated variants to explore clear alternatives while preserving the essential idea.

How to use the prompt improver

  1. Paste the original prompt or describe the shot in ordinary language.
  2. State whether you are starting from text or an existing reference image. Describe the reference and the details that must stay unchanged; this text tool does not inspect an uploaded image.
  3. Add the intended use, audience, tone, and timing context. Name any supported model constraints you already know.
  4. Generate the alternatives and compare their action, camera, and visual emphasis.
  5. Edit one variant to match the actual inputs and controls of your chosen model before generating.

Example: from a broad idea to one clear shot

Original idea: “Make a nice video of my bag.”

A more specific text-to-video direction could be: “A canvas tote rests upright on a wooden desk beside a closed notebook. Soft window light reveals the fabric texture. The camera makes a slow, short push toward the bag, ending on a stable medium close-up.”

When a real product reference is available, describe the motion you want while retaining the supplied appearance: “Use the supplied product image as the reference. Keep the tote upright and unchanged while the camera slowly moves closer. Preserve its handle shape, color, and visible seams.” These examples are illustrative prompts, not claims about a tested output.

Text-to-video and image-to-video need different emphasis

For a text-first scene, the prompt must establish the subject and environment as well as the action. For an image-first scene, the reference already supplies much of the appearance, so concentrate on what should move and how the camera should behave.

Avoid requesting motion that contradicts the reference pose or physical setup. If the source does not show a crucial product detail, obtain a better reference instead of asking the model to guess it. Keep duration, resolution, and aspect ratio in the model controls when those controls are available.

Compare the variants with a specific question

Choose the alternative that communicates your intent most clearly, then test one important change at a time. For example, keep the subject action fixed while changing a static camera to a slow push. Record the chosen prompt with the source image and settings so the next revision has a reliable starting point.

If a result fails, describe the visible mismatch: the object changed shape, the camera moved too far, or the action began too early. Adding more style words will not necessarily solve a problem with geometry, timing, or an ambiguous reference.

Video prompt improver questions

Is it tied to one video model? No. The output is a starting brief. Adapt it to the model you actually use and check its supported inputs and controls.

Will the improved prompt always generate a better clip? No. Results depend on the model, source assets, settings, and iteration. Compare the output against your intended shot.

Can it analyze an uploaded image? This version accepts text. Describe the reference in the brief and attach the actual image later in the creation workflow.

Does it generate the video? No. It prepares editable prompts; video generation is a separate step.

Build a complete sequence

Use the AI storyboard generator when your idea needs multiple shots, and the AI video script generator when it also needs narration. For a product reference, review the product photo checklist before starting.

Save your draft and continue in Drizzle

Edit the result before using it. Copy it, download a text file, or choose Use in Drizzle to carry the draft into the creation workflow. Keep the approved brief with your references so later revisions start from the same facts. Text generation does not create a finished video. Image and video generation are separate steps with their own model limits and credit costs; see current pricing.

Availability and your inputs

These AI tools generate text through Drizzle, with limited free usage and shared service capacity. A request may be temporarily unavailable or rate limited. Enter only material you are comfortable sending for AI processing, and save useful results before leaving or reloading the page. The generator does not verify product claims, retrieve live information from a pasted URL, or guarantee that every instruction will be followed.
