The product advertising glossary
What is Conversion rate?
Conversion rate is completed target actions divided by the relevant opportunities, multiplied by 100.
By Drizzle team
A practical example
Twenty purchases from 1,000 sessions gives a 2% session-to-purchase conversion rate.
How to use it
Keep the denominator consistent: clicks, sessions, users, and checkout starts produce different rates. Review device, channel, and page behavior before attributing every change to the ad.
Put it in a creative brief
Write down the event, asset, or workflow you mean by Conversion rate before sharing a brief or report. For campaign measurements, keep the source and reporting window with the number. For creative work, attach an example so the team can assess the same thing.
