The product advertising glossary

What is AI UGC?

AI UGC usually means AI-generated advertising that resembles informal creator content. The phrase describes a style; it does not establish that a real customer used the product.

A practical example

A fictional presenter can introduce a shirt and show its cut. It should not say it purchased the shirt or wore it for a month when that experience never occurred.

How to use it

Review product accuracy, likeness rights, claims, and any applicable synthetic-media labels. Treat the output as a brand-controlled creative asset.

Put it in a creative brief

Write down the event, asset, or workflow you mean by AI UGC before sharing a brief or report. For campaign measurements, keep the source and reporting window with the number. For creative work, attach an example so the team can assess the same thing.
