Build a talking-head product ad around a clear role

Decide whether the speaker is introducing the brand, explaining a feature, or describing a real experience. That role determines what the script can honestly say.

Write a role the presenter can support

A fictional presenter can introduce a bag, explain its listed dimensions, or direct viewers to the product page. A real customer testimonial requires a real experience and appropriate permission. Do not use casual delivery to blur those roles.

Keep the opening short and make the product visible early. A long introduction about the speaker can delay the information the shopper needs.

Use product shots as evidence

Pair spoken features with clear close-ups. When the script mentions a pocket, show it. When size matters, use real dimensions and a reliable scale reference. Let the presenter organize the story rather than stand in for every visual explanation.

Review speech pronunciation, lip timing, facial expression, and pauses. A technically smooth face can still feel wrong when the script sounds like a list of slogans.

Compare a face-led and product-led version

Keep the offer and facts constant while changing the presentation. Ask an unfamiliar viewer what each version explains. In a campaign, review qualified clicks and purchases alongside attention.
