Prepare reflective product photos for AI video

Glass, metal, and glossy plastic change appearance with camera movement. Give the creative a reference that shows what belongs to the product and what belongs to the room.
Make reflections readable
Photograph the item against a quiet background and keep an unedited view beside the polished listing image. A second angle helps distinguish a real seam or label from a reflected line.
Limit the first movement
Ask for a small camera move instead of a full turn. Compare the highlight, edge, and label in every frame; stop if a reflection becomes an invented opening or attachment.
Prepare the ad
Use the accepted clip only after checking the final crop and destination variant. A bright reflection may hide the detail the caption asks shoppers to inspect.
A worked example
Suppose the product is a polished steel bottle. A front photo shows its label, while a side photo shows the real cap seam. Brief a slow push under one soft light, then pause the video where the highlight crosses the cap. If that bright line becomes a second opening, the result no longer represents the bottle. A still label close-up may communicate the feature more accurately.
Decision check
Keep the original product photo, approved facts, and intended placement beside the draft. Review the opening, the moment of movement or contact, and the final frame against the same SKU. If a visual claim cannot be verified, reduce the action or use the real photograph for that detail.
