What to test with OmniHuman 1.5
Starting inputs: An image of a human figure paired with an audio file.
Animating a presenter to an already approved spoken track.
Use clean speech with a pause and a few visible consonants. Inspect mouth timing, teeth, blinking, shoulders, and hand movement around the pause.
Audio-driven human animation is a different task from inventing a product demonstration. Obtain permission for any real person or voice you supply.
What to test with Happy Horse 1.1
Starting inputs: Reference images through the hosted reference-to-video endpoint.
A scene whose look or subject should be grounded in visual references.
Supply consistent views of one product. Compare logo placement and proportions across frames, then repeat with a deliberately different camera angle.
Reference support is endpoint-specific. More images help only when they describe a compatible subject and scene.
Make the comparison fair
Use the same approved product facts, target crop, duration, and quality threshold. When the models accept different inputs, record the extra preparation each needs: supplying a finished audio track is real production work. Run more than one attempt, retain failures, and compare the accepted clips without showing the reviewer their source.
Score product fidelity, speech timing, scene control, and editing effort independently. A model that wins a portrait test may still be the wrong choice for a close-up product manipulation.
