Review a vertical product video crop

A 9:16 export can still lose the detail the ad needs when platform controls cover it.
Mark the important area
Identify the product feature and caption that must stay visible. Place them away from likely controls before generating or cropping.
Preview the placement
Use the destination app or ad preview rather than relying on a blank 9:16 canvas. Buttons, descriptions, and profile elements vary by placement.
Reframe if needed
Move the source composition or use another crop. Avoid shrinking the item so far that a shopper can no longer read its construction.
A worked example
A bag may look centered on a blank 9:16 canvas while its bottom pocket sits behind the platform caption area. Preview the export in the chosen placement, then move the bag upward or reposition the caption. Check the opening and the moment a hand lifts it; the useful detail must remain visible during motion, not only on the poster frame.
Decision check
Keep the original product photo, approved facts, and intended placement beside the draft. Review the opening, the moment of movement or contact, and the final frame against the same SKU. If a visual claim cannot be verified, reduce the action or use the real photograph for that detail.
