Plan product creative for a seasonal promotion

By Drizzle team

A promotion can expire faster than an otherwise useful product video.

Separate durable shots

Make the core product demonstration without an embedded date or price where possible. Keep offer text in an editable layer.

Verify the offer

Check discount, eligibility, stock, and end time against the destination before launch. Avoid generic urgency language if no limit exists.

Schedule a recheck

Review live ads when the offer ends or inventory changes. Retire any export that keeps promising the old terms.

A worked example

A candle video can use an autumn room and a clear jar shot, while a separate caption carries the actual weekend offer. When the promotion ends, remove the caption without discarding the product footage. Confirm that the candle’s scent and package did not change between filming and the next seasonal reuse.

Decision check

Review the exact SKU, source imagery, current offer, and destination as one chain before using the asset. A generated scene can be visually persuasive while changing construction or availability. Save the accepted file with its product version and retire it when the physical item or terms change.
