Make a looping product video from one product scene

By Drizzle team

2 min read

A short loop works when the opening and closing frames feel like the same moment.

Choose repeatable motion

A gentle camera drift or a small product lift is easier to loop than an unboxing or a one-way reveal. Keep the product position near its starting place.

Plan the edit

Review whether the final frame can cut back to the first without a visible jump. A dissolve can hide a small lighting difference, but it cannot fix a changed label.

Check playback

Watch several loops on a phone with sound and captions. If the repeated action becomes distracting, use a normal ending instead.

A worked example

A candle jar on a shelf can support a gentle left-to-right camera drift that returns near its starting position. Compare the opening and closing frames for label size, lid position, and background light. Play the loop several times; a tiny jump can become distracting through repetition. If the jar changes shape between ends, use a normal ending instead of a dissolve.

Decision check

Keep the original product photo, approved facts, and intended placement beside the draft. Review the opening, the moment of movement or contact, and the final frame against the same SKU. If a visual claim cannot be verified, reduce the action or use the real photograph for that detail.
