Use a hand only when it helps explain scale or a documented feature.

Plan the creative
A shot style should earn its place by making one feature easier to see. Match the move to source views and the item’s physical behavior. When the camera reveals an undocumented surface, shorten the move or use an approved still.
Photograph the item from the handling angle and record where fingers may safely touch it. Keep motion short and physically plausible.
A worked example
A hand can lift a phone case to show its side buttons and camera opening. Use a real case reference from that angle. If fingers merge into the edges or the case size changes, return to a surface shot.
A brief to adapt
Show a fictional adult hand holding this exact item for a close view of its verified detail. Keep the product fully visible.

Check the result
Inspect fingers, grip, label, and relative size frame by frame. If hand interaction changes the object, use a static scale reference instead.
