Write voiceover for a product-only video

A voiceover can guide attention while the product stays central in the frame.
Describe what is visible
Use the opening line to name the item and the next line to point to a real detail. A voice can identify a measured size, but the visual should not imply a different scale.
Leave quiet moments
A brief pause lets a viewer inspect texture, assembly, or packaging. Read the line with the clip before adding music.
Check claims in context
Compare the recorded words, captions, product image, and landing page. They should describe the same SKU and current offer.
A worked example
A necklace video can open with the whole piece while the voice names it, then move to the clasp as the voice says where it closes. Leave a pause over the detail. Avoid speaking an unverified metal purity claim simply because the visual looks expensive. Captions should carry the same factual words for sound-off viewers.
Decision check
Keep the original product photo, approved facts, and intended placement beside the draft. Review the opening, the moment of movement or contact, and the final frame against the same SKU. If a visual claim cannot be verified, reduce the action or use the real photograph for that detail.
