Write a product demo hook around a visible action

A strong opening tells the viewer what the product will show in the next seconds.
Choose the action
Pick a real task: opening a pouch, arranging a desk organizer, or showing a sleeve detail. State the action before writing a slogan.
Keep the line specific
“See how the inner divider is arranged” gives the camera a clear job. Avoid saying an item solves a problem the shot cannot verify.
Check the first seconds
Play the ad without sound. The opening action should still explain why the item matters. Then check that captions add information instead of repeating the obvious.
A worked example
For a storage container, “Here is how the lid closes” sets up a specific shot. Show the real latch and pause before the close. “This never leaks” would ask a generated action to prove performance it cannot establish. A useful hook leaves the buyer with a clearer view of the item even if they never turn on sound.
Decision check
Keep the original product photo, approved facts, and intended placement beside the draft. Review the opening, the moment of movement or contact, and the final frame against the same SKU. If a visual claim cannot be verified, reduce the action or use the real photograph for that detail.
