Test a product-detail opening against a lifestyle opening

These openings answer different questions: what the item is made like and where it fits in a routine.
Build comparable assets
Use the same exact product, offer, length, and destination. Change the first shot while keeping later information as similar as practical.
Check the detail version
Show a verified feature clearly, such as the inside of a pouch. A generated close-up must not add construction the real item lacks.
Interpret the result
Look beyond early views to qualified visits and orders. A lifestyle opening may earn attention while the detail opening helps purchase decisions, or the reverse.
A worked example
For a desk lamp, one opening shows the switch and base while another shows it in a styled room. Use the same lamp, price, destination, and later shots. The detail version may help shoppers who question how it works; the room version may communicate scale. Compare qualified visits and orders, then inspect whether either opening caused a misleading size impression.
Decision check
Keep the numerator, denominator, date range, currency, and attribution definition with every reported result. A metric describes one part of the shopper path; compare it with visits, purchases, and order contribution before changing the creative or budget. State what the observation cannot establish.
