Test one caption opening in a UGC ad

A caption can change the viewer’s interpretation even when the video stays the same.

Choose two factual lines

Write openings that point to different verified aspects of the item, such as size and internal layout. Avoid changing the price or making an unsupported promise.

Keep the edit controlled

Use the same footage, duration, audience, and destination. Move the caption only if placement visibility requires it.

Review the result

Check whether the new words attracted useful visits and whether shoppers found the named fact on the product page.

A worked example

Keep a tote video fixed and alternate the first caption between “See the inside pocket” and “A closer look at the straps,” both verified by source photos. The footage must show each named detail promptly. If one caption wins clicks but the destination hides that feature, the page still needs work before scaling spend.

Decision check

Keep the numerator, denominator, date range, currency, and attribution definition with every reported result. A metric describes one part of the shopper path; compare it with visits, purchases, and order contribution before changing the creative or budget. State what the observation cannot establish.
