Write a useful ad creative result note

A result note should let another person understand what ran, what changed, and what remained uncertain.
Capture the setup
Record product, offer, audience approach, placement, dates, spend, creative version, and attribution setting. Save the actual asset and destination URL.
State observed numbers
Report delivery, clicks, visits, purchases, and contribution with their denominators. Do not invent precision when sample size is small.
End with a decision
Keep, revise, stop, or collect more data. Name the specific next test and the condition that would change the decision.
A worked example
A useful note might say: “Pocket close-up launched to the same product page as the room scene; both ran for seven days with the same offer. Link CTR increased, but purchases were too few for a firm conclusion.” Attach spend, counts, and the actual files. That note can guide the next test without pretending an uncertain result is a proven win.
Decision check
Keep the numerator, denominator, date range, currency, and attribution definition with every reported result. A metric describes one part of the shopper path; compare it with visits, purchases, and order contribution before changing the creative or budget. State what the observation cannot establish.
