Organize source files for product creative

By Drizzle team

A reliable revision starts with the correct photo, not a screenshot of an earlier generated result.

Separate roles

Keep source photos, approved facts, generated drafts, and final exports in distinct folders or names. Label the product version and color.

Save the brief

Record the original viewer question and immutable product details beside the files. In Drizzle, keep the conversation and accepted output together.

Retire outdated assets

Recheck packaging, price, and offers when a campaign returns months later. An old approved creative may describe a product no longer sold.

A worked example

For a backpack campaign, keep backpack-navy-source-front, backpack-navy-source-interior, the approved brief, draft renders, and final exports distinct. Six months later, the team can tell which item and source produced a clip. A folder of unlabeled generated files makes it easy to reuse the wrong colorway after a supplier update.

Decision check

Review the exact SKU, source imagery, current offer, and destination as one chain before using the asset. A generated scene can be visually persuasive while changing construction or availability. Save the accepted file with its product version and retire it when the physical item or terms change.
